Bromure Web 3.4.0 and Agentic Coding 1.4.0 — Chrome extensions, MCP everywhere

Two new releases today. Bromure Web 3.4.0 adds support for Chrome extensions, screenshots over MCP, and newer Linux kernel modules. Bromure Agentic Coding 1.4.0 ships an MCP server so any MCP-capable client can drive the VM, its shared folders, and its session tracing.

Two new releases today, with a big thank-you to community contributor @dmcphearson, who landed the headline feature on both sides.

Bromure Web 3.4.0

  • Chrome extensions. Bromure now runs unmodified Chrome extensions — password managers, ad blockers, the lot. Thanks to @dmcphearson for landing this in #27.
  • Screenshots via MCP. Any MCP-aware agent can now grab a screenshot of a Bromure session. Useful for visual QA, scripted reproductions, and for handing real context to an agent that needs to see what the user sees.
  • Updated kernel modules. Newest version of the Linux kernel modules for graphics and the hardware clock.

Bromure Agentic Coding 1.4.0

  • MCP server. Agentic Coding now exposes an MCP server, so any MCP-capable client can drive the VM, list and mount shared folders, and pull session traces — without shelling into the VM by hand. Courtesy of the very prolific @dmcphearson in #25.

Both binaries are free and open source. Grab them on the downloads page.
