Hans · Episode 1 · 1:12

Two worlds

Every Fjordrunner feature is a relay race between the iPhone app and its Linux server. Hans gives his agents a Mac of their own: a Mac mini running Bromure Sidecar. It joins his fleet with one click, and an agent on it builds the game in Xcode and boots it in the iPhone simulator.

What you will see

  1. 01Bromure Sidecar, a menu-bar app, goes on a Mac mini. Hans signs in.
  2. 02Nothing joins the fleet without asking: one click allows the Mac in.
  3. 03The Mac appears under Native Machines, next to his Linux workspace.
  4. 04An agent on the Mac runs Xcode natively, builds the game and boots it in the iPhone simulator.
  5. 05That agent isn't in a VM, and Bromure labels it "Not sandboxed". That's why it gets a Mac of its own.

Agents that need macOS get a Mac of their own, in the same fleet as your sandboxed Linux agents.

Hans and Lille Fjell Games are fictional. The studio, the game, its machines and its repositories in these episodes were all made up for the demo.
